Battle through Dobie Village as the player character to prevent a fire spirit from devouring souls. Players can recruit defeated enemy spirits to act as allies during combat, while upgrading these spirits to increase their combat effectiveness. Progressing through the game unlocks new combos, special attacks, and abilities to strengthen the player character's fighting capabilities.
